A well laid wood or laminate floor not only looks great in your home, but will protect the floor and be easy to clean.

or bath, as laminate is a better choice for areas around water.
Types We carry limited samples of wood and laminate
with us because the styles change often. You are encoraged to pick out your own product from whomever you like. Your choices
are abundant. You might like traditional maples and oaks, or exotic Brazillian cherrys and teaks. Some of the newer and
"greener' products include bamboo and cork.
Installation Laminates, like engeneered woods can be used on most surfaces,
and some may require padding underneath. Solid harwoods cannot be laid over concrete, and should be avoided in high humidty
areas such as kitchens and baths.
Please Note: You need to have the wood/laminate in the heated or cooled part of
your house for at least a full day before we install it.

Before Diversified Services/Columbia's Handyman tile contractors arrive at your place, we ask that you do the following to better help us and avoid mishaps.
We may bring a very limited supply of samples to your place when we give you the estimate. You are encouraged to seek out other sources so you find just the right tile for you. We will give you advice as to which size and compostion flooring you should choose based upon the installation area.
Please keep the area free of debris and other hazards. Remove all breakables from the area. We will remove fixtures, receptacle and switch covers as necessary.
It may not be necessary to remove the exiting flooring (we will inform you of this), but if it is, you can save some money by removing it yourself. Just make sure the result is smooth and level. We can remove the flooring for you at a reasonable price.
Please note: If we are laying glue down qwood or laminate products, the gluing process involves letting the floor cure overnight. You cannot enter the room for at least 24 hours. If we are laying nail-down, or click lock wood/laminate, you can usually walk on it immediatly after installation.
